What past Chasers are saying about City Chase:

"Not too many people can say they rappelled off the tower at Chicago's Navy Pier and bowled naked at Lucky Strike, but I can! City Chase is so much fun! 2008 was my second year and I can't wait to do it again. Lesson learned: this year was ten times more fun with one of my best girlfriends (over last year with an uber-competitive x-borfriend)... and we completed twice as many points! With City Chase laughter and comraderie are the best strategy!"

"Just finished the Seattle City Chase 5 days ago (and can finally walk without pain!!) My best friend and I started out with a goal of finishing 5 check points before the course closed. Imagine our surprise when, after 4 hours and 28 minutes of running, eating raw fish, laughing, and more running (in the wrong direction) we crossed (crawled to) the finish line 12th place overall (3rd Women)!! It was definitely one of the greatest memories we will share for our lifetimes. I am ready to go again, but my partner says she'll never do it again (but assuming it is like childbirth0 she'll forget the pain the day after and only remember how much fun we had!!) Big Cheers to the people of Seattle!!"

"I did Citychase in Chicago in 2007 and I couldn't wait to sign up this year! It was the most fun I ever had! I highly recommend it and I am making all my friends do it this year too! You will NOT be dissappointed!"

"I HIGHLY recommend doing the City Chase if it comes to your city! It's basically a mini version of the Amazing Race, full of obstacle courses, scavenger hunts and trivia. My boyfriend and I were partners for the San Diego City Chase and the fact that we did the whole race with smiles on our faces taught us that we not only have a lot of fun together, but that we are a good team under pressure :)"

"My friend Mark and I had a blast, I was worried we would turn into one of those arguing teams from Amazing Race, but we were laughing the entire time, especially when we were trying to decipher a language we had no comprehension of. I can't wait for this years race!!"

"Some free advice for CityChase newbies... do not let your clue sheet out of your sight. It will “disappear” quickly. If you need to go into the water, use the plastic bag provided at the beginning of the race to take your clue sheet with you. Our clue sheet was “lost” before we completing the very first challenge. This so-called “accident” forced us to work with several other teams. We helped strangers with “Holey Poley” and gave other teams all the answers to the Mensa puzzles. They helped us in return. My teammate and I met a lot of amazing people and we came in fifth place. Not bad considering the circumstances. This event is a blast. I cannot wait fir CityChase 2008! :)"

"I'm counting down the days for City Chase 2008! After being dunked in a tank by Wrigley Field and singing karoake on Navy Pier, I'm looking forward to some more one-of-a-kind opportunities. It's a mental and a physical challenge as well as a social experience like no other!"

"Can't wait til this year's City Chase Chicago! Last year was a blast. I loved working out the clues and discovering what activity we would have to complete to earn our points. We fenced, ate dog food, repelled down a 5 story building all while meeting cool, fun people throughout the day."

"One of the best urban adventure races of all time. A must do for those interested in having a blast in the city they know and love. You must be able to run, think, laugh, cry, befriend strangers, problem solve, and organize, all with a teammate."

"I had such an amazing time participating in the Chicago City Chase in August! It really pushed me to work hard and fast with my co-worker. We were so impressed with how well we meshed together to get the answers we needed and we knew each others' strengths/weaknesses to accomplish the physical activities. I can't wait for the next one!!"

"I can't wait for this year's CityChase! Last year we got all 10 of our ChasePoints and got to the finish line with 30 seconds to spare before the deadline. This year we are hoping to improve on that by at least a minute."

"City Chase 2007 was so much fun! As soon as we finished, my teammate and I immediately began plotting techniques for 2008. We've already cleared our calendars and can't wait for the fun to begin! I think this is as close to the Amazing Race that I'll ever get..."

"City Chase 2007 was a great time. Where else can you rappel down the side of Navy Pier, be in a dunk tank at Wrigley Field and sing badly in front of a large group of people and have them applaud. Looking forward to the exciting experiences of this year."

"My girlfriend and I did City Chase with a couple of our guy friends and had such a fantastic time. We couldn't stop talking about it for weeks and are sure that next year will be fun, but not as good as the original. Unless of course this year, we find the naked ChasePoint! Wooooooo."

"We are in receipt of the $8,000 donation to Special Children's Charities/Special Olympics Chicago. We were thrilled to have been selected as the beneficiary partner of your City Chase event which was help throughout Chicago on August 25, 2007. This donation will allow us to enhance the programs enjoyed by nearly 5,000 Special Olympics Chicago athletes throughout the year at various Chicago Public schools and Park District facilities. On behalf of our board, our athletes and their families, we once again thank you for the significant difference your generosity will make in the lives of our athletes."

"What an amazing experience! The smiles on all of the participants faces tells it all - no matter how long we were out there, or how many chase points a particular team completed, absolutely everyone I met along the way was having the time of their life. And the cooperation between the teams to help steer us along the right route was fun to see. Bring on the next race!"
